KM Naza juara, Kuala Lumpur tersungkur

About the same time the multi-millionaires of Manchester United were piercing through West Ham's porous defence as the Red Devils took a big step towards the English Premiership title last night, a title was decided in our own backyard.

Pencapaiannya selaku gergasi bola sepak 1980-an ketika nama Fandi Ahmad, Subadron Aziz, Malek Awab mencanak naik sudah lama ditelan zaman.

i was told there will be no relegation for the Premier League. KL gets a second chance to buck up.

Jim morrison wanabe,

You are right in a way. But while Armed Forces will be relegated, KL escaped such an ignominious exit because FAM had decided to make the Super League a 14-team competition, and the Premier League also a 14-team league. The FAM circular about this was issued in February.

This means Kuala Muda Naza and KL Plus earn promotion to Super League and Sarawak are the only side to be demoted to the Premier League.

Thanks Jim.

I beg to differ :)

Premier League currently has 13 teams. KL Plus and Kuala Muda Naza get promotions so that leaves with 11 teams.

Sarawak will be relegated so Premier League will now have 12 teams (with KL and Armed Forces still in the league)..and the other two teams will be from the FAM Cup. Thus 14 teams.

If FAM decides two teams from Super League will be relegated instead, then only will the maths work out if Armed Forces are also given the boot.

We shall know for sure when FAM's exco meeting is held on May 17.
