Netball on TV
Netball on mainstream TV? True...the 9th Asian Championship clash between hosts Malaysia and India was shown live over TV1 around 5.0pm. Kudos to RTM, for the netball administrators have long suffered in silence over the lack of media attention. It was funny though, listening to football commentator Zainal Abidin Rawop describing the moves made by our girls as they thrashed India 75-18. Read here. More than 12 hours earlier, TV1 showed the European Under-21 football match between Germany and Finland. Not bad, RTM. Too bad it clashed with Italy's 1-0 defeat to Egypt in the Confederations Cup.

bola jaring disiarkan "live" tapi sesetengah segmen atau lebih tepat, program sukan di "lupuskan"...
berita sukan pada waktu perdana pun dikurangkan...
sebabnya, ada yg kata "sukan tak penting"....politik paling penting...
sekang bola jaring live, u 21 euro ada live....agaknya nanti, petanque, lawn bowl pun ada live...pastu piala negara Afrika pun live...
Mestila disiarkan "live" memandangkan org PR netball budak RTM....hmph!
Good to see our TV stations give space for other sports as well, not just soccer, badminton and golf.
It's ok wat, netball on TV..y not?? Don't la you guys become so MCP...It's better than the mediocre local football matches shown every week on telly.
Kalau da ader live Euro U-21 kt RTM 1 ni da kire bgusla..Tahniah RTM!
Let's hope that it doesnt stop at netball...next sport - Bodybuilding!
