My biggest critic

Mak, may Allah bless her soul, was my biggest critic. Nothing escaped her. She would put my Berita Harian articles under the microscope, so to speak. Often I found it hard to please a teacher like her! Mak, my guiding light, would have turned 66 today according to the Gregorian calendar. The month of May used to be a cause for celebration for us because we would celebrate Mak's birthday, Mother's Day followed by Teacher's Day. Al-Fatihah to Rafeah Abdul Aziz (May 9, 1943-Oct 31, 1994).

Les Bleus went on a long unbeaten run wearing this jersey. The coach then was Michel Platini.
