ATP comes to Malaysia

HCFOO, thanks for the alert. Malaysia's own tennis blogger broke the news that Malaysia will stage the ATP World Tour 250 series on Sept 28 a short while ago. Check out www.hcfoo.com and atpworldtour.com. The big names will not come but I would love for Jo Wilfred Tsonga to play in Kuala Lumpur. This however raises the question of the 2009 Showdown which will feature Maria Sharapova...

Thanks Rizal :D

Back in January, LTAM did mentioned about Andy Roddick, who could be playing here in Malaysia (http://www.ltam.org.my/node/980)

Then according to my PR lady, Esther, Asia's no.1 player Rendy Lu Yen-Hsun also interested to play here.

Hopefully we'll have a better line-up compare to Thailand :P

Btw, Jo Willy will defend his title in Thailand so no chance for you to meet him for the time being.

As for Sharapova, I really hope she'll come with Elena. Guarantee sold out!

hidup Malaysian Tennis!

btw, is V Selvam still Malaysia's number 1?

I hope Selvam doesn't ask for a wildcard like how he requested to be included in the Malaysian Davis Cup team recently LOL.

Si Yew Meng is no.1 in Malaysia but he's already in his 30s.

I hope the younger generations get it instead.
